A heartfelt thank you!!!
Greetings Arbor Heights Parents, Teachers and Friends!
Last Friday's event was a huge success and we want to thank you for your support! It cannot be understated what a challenge this was, coming off of a year where we had no auction, a limited budget, and a short runway to pull everything together. More than anything, we wanted to do something to foster our sense of community and togetherness given how big of a challenge it's been these past couple years, and we are grateful to all of you who showed up-in person or online or through your classroom project/basket.
The evening was a "roaring" success, and it was fun to see so many people dressed fancy and many with a fun 1920's vibe! The sun came out, there was great food and drinks, DJ music + dancing, games, and so many compelling items to bid on. So much laughter, reconnecting and fun! There are many volunteers who worked tirelessly to pull this off and a long list of generous donors to thank-and to whom we are truly grateful. It is a great reminder of what a strong community we have at Arbor Heights Elementary and what we can accomplish when we come together. By the end of the night, we raised over $45,000 from this event, which far exceeded our target of $30,000. This has given the PTSA incredible momentum for the goals set for the next school year in order to support our students, teachers and community.
